Ukrainians are not required to get a visa to enter Brazil since 2011. Entry is allowed for up to 90 days within 180 days of crossing the Brazilian border.
The Ordinance on granting humanitarian visas to Ukrainians came into force on 03/03/2022 and is valid until 08/31/2022. The duration of this visa is from 6 months to 2 years, and can be extended under certain conditions. This visa gives resident status and allows them to work in the country.

Option 1. To obtain a humanitarian visa, you must apply for it at the Brazilian consulate in Warsaw, Budapest, Bucharest, Prague or Bratislava.
Option 2: Ukrainians can also enter the country as tourists and apply for a humanitarian visa/residence permit after arriving to Brazil. To do this, please contact a local Federal Police office.

Citizens of Ukraine can enter Brazil without COVID vaccination.
Customs rules
According to Brazilian customs regulations, it is not necessary to declare the following elements:
ELECTRONIC CURRENCY STATEMENT (e-DPV)
E-DPVs must be completed by travelers carrying more than 10,000 Brazilian reals or the equivalent in other currencies, cash, traveler’s checks or checks. It can be completed before sending via the Internet (www.receita.fazenda.gov.br/dpv ) or at the RFB terminals available at airports. The form must be presented to customs officials for inspection.

Information on simplifying the import of dogs and cats
As a result of the armed conflict in Ukraine, dogs and cats accompanying repatriated Brazilian citizens and refugee foreign citizens do not need to present an International Veterinary Certificate (CVI) issued or endorsed by the veterinary authorities of the countries of origin of these animals and the presentation of a certificate of vaccination or any other health certification upon entry into the country.
Upon arrival, passengers will be instructed by the International Agricultural Surveillance Agency (Vigiagro) regarding the internal sanitary procedures to be adopted in relation to animals.

This organization offers temporary homes for refugees, but must check availability in advance.
The facility can be used by foreigners, migrantes, refugees, and those still in the process of obtaining refugee status. It accommodates 110 people. Dorms are divided into female and male rooms with integrated living rooms, TV, library, conference room, game room and laundry facility, and a 3 moths max stay. It provides meals, Portuguese lessons, mental health and social support. All residents receive a personal hygiene kit and clothing and address can be used to receive mail.
